Ingredients:
- 120g of unsalted butter, softened
- 100g of granulated sugar
- 100g of brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 200g of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 150g of chocolate chips
- 50g of crushed walnuts

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed walnuts.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop generous amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out to allow for spreading.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. They will look soft in the middle.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
