Gourmet Cheeseburger Delight

Ingredients:

  • 500g of ground beef
  • 150g of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 whole grain burger buns
  • 150g of lettuce leaves
  • 3 slices of tomato
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper, and gently form into three equal patties.
  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  • While the burgers are cooking, slice the whole grain buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill.
  • Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce and tomato slices.
  • Once the cheese has melted on the patties, place them on top of the assembled buns.
  • Top with the grilled onions and finish off with the crown of the bun.
