Ingredients:
- 500g of ground beef
- 150g of sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 whole grain burger buns
- 150g of lettuce leaves
- 3 slices of tomato
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Spatula

Instructions:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper, and gently form into three equal patties.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- While the burgers are cooking, slice the whole grain buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce and tomato slices.
- Once the cheese has melted on the patties, place them on top of the assembled buns.
- Top with the grilled onions and finish off with the crown of the bun.
